Candie Hernandez Realtor ®
Although not originally from Texas, it has become my home after 30+ years of living primarily in the DFW area. After working several years in retail, I fell into the real estate industry while I was going to school for interior design.
I spent most of my 25+ years in real estate in sales and property management and am known as the problem solver and the "go to" person for the toughest challenges. I am still considering writing a book with my unbelievable stories over the years. You will find that I have mastered the skills of multi tasking, handling tough customer issues, proactive resolutions to difficult crisis situations, excellent communication and customer service skills. In the past, I managed countless communities including a huge multi family community with over 1100 units where I was called "Mayor Candie" as well as a high rise downtown where I managed major floods, worked with the FBI on several busts (in a high dollar community) while overseeing an extensive renovation. I endured the chaos unlike two different chief engineers who quit dropping keys on my desk leaving me to do my job and theirs for months.
I made the decision to move into real estate sales in order to find more balance between work and play with a little less mania on a daily basis.
I'm known for my eternal optimism, creativity, and bubbly personality. I'm genuine, direct, and take the time to find out your priorities and concerns are. I'm a tough negotiator and anticipate issues before they happen. I work well under pressure and make sure my clients have a hassle free experience if at all possible.
I've had the privilege to raise an amazing son single handedly who as an adult somehow walked away with my work ethic and is currently in the real estate profession also. He's told me he has big shoes to fill.
When I am not actively assisting my clients I am working on commissioned pieces or new artwork for my upcoming gallery showing. I've been a freelance artist for over 30 years. I'm also a musician and love to spend time actively outdoors. Maybe not as much a tomboy these days nor do I run any more marathons but you might see me on a bike or in a canoe.
I have found that my clients become lifetime connections because I have successfully assisted them through an important financial transaction where we have developed trust, respect, and shared very personal conversations along the way. It is always a huge compliment to get referrals and repeat business from past clients. Thank you in advance for giving me the opportunity to assist you.
